Come and see Tractor Ted and meet a variety of young farm animals from lambs to piglets and chicks to guinea pigs! There are hens and bantams with their chicks and rabbits and guinea pigs for petting. Tractor Ted Farmers are always around to introduce visitors to the animals and chat about their pariticular personalities and how to care for them.
In the play stable children can browse the Tractor Ted books, play with the Tractor Ted toys and watch the real life farming DVDs.
Outside of the Tractor Ted barn, it's all about real life farm fun with mini tractors to ride around the tractor track, bouncy animals to jump around on and animal enclosures to explore. Check out the mechanical diggers as well... the closest thing to driving a real JCB!
Complete your visit with a Tractor Ted lunchbox served in the café and a browse around the shop for the latest Tractor Ted goodies.

Head Teacher, Tania Beard, St Martin's School, Cranbrook, East Devon:
"Tractor Ted has supported us in developing our youngest children in understanding where their food comes from and the importance of looking after the world in which we live in so it can continue to provide for us. The children love the DVDs and books and are fascinated by all of the machinery that is used on modern day farms. What they learn from the books and DVDs is reflected in their play and in the questions that they ask. Learning more about how food is produced has also increased our children's enthusiasm for growing and cooking their own food. Tractor Ted fits into many aspects of the EYFS and National Curriculums and gives an accessible route into the world of farming and conservation for young children."
Entry to the Tractor Ted Little Farm at Bowood is all part of the entry to the House & Gardens which includes the famous Adventure Playground.
The whole family can relax in 100 acres of beautiful parkland, designed by ‘Capability’ Brown, offering a lake, arboretum, pinetum and cascade. Perfect for walks and exploring. Or visit Bowood House which hosts a wealth of unique items from Queen Victoria’s wedding chair to Napoleon’s death mask and an extensive art collection.
During the spring (late April to early June) visit the stunning Rhododendron Walks, this woodland oasis offers breathtaking vistas of colour covering over 60 acres.
