Which credit cards does Tractor Ted accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard and Switch/Maestro. Payment is taken through Stripe, a secure and safe payment gateway.
Making a purchase
Making a purchase is easy. Just browse on the relevant pages of the website, click on any items that you wish to purchase and they will be automatically added to your Shopping Basket. Once you have finished selecting the items that you wish to purchase, click on ‘Your Basket’ and complete your order. New customers will need to register their customer details in order for us to fulfil your order.
Editing your shopping basket
Click on the “View Basket” button to view and edit the contents of your basket.
All prices include VAT (where applicable) at the prevailing rate and this is chargeable on all orders within the EU. For orders originating outside the EU, this amount will be deducted from the cost of the goods. For more information, please contact us.
We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website.
Out of stock items
Whilst we endeavour to keep a healthy stock of all our items in the shop, there are times when we demand outstrips supply at very busy times of the year. If there is an item of stock that you are after, please email email@example.com and we’ll do our very best to help find the item you’re after.
When will my order arrive?
Orders are dispatched on the next working day. Orders are then handed over to the courier to make delivery. Orders can be tracked where relevant using the DPD tracking device.
We hope that you will be delighted with your goods. If, for some reason, you are not, you are welcome to return goods in a sealed, new condition for exchange or a full refund. This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
You have the statutory right to cancel orders at any time within fourteen working days after the day the items were received. This applies to all our products, except DVDs where the sealed wrapping has been opened.
To cancel your purchase within this 14 working day “cooling off” period, you must inform us of your decision in writing by letter or email. We will refund you the full purchase price, less postage and packing charges, as soon as possible and within a maximum of 30 days. This is conditional on the goods being returned in their original condition and packaging within 14 days of cancellation.
Please note you will be responsible for the cost of returning the items to us unless we delivered them to you in error or if the items were damaged or defective.
We do not accept responsibility for returns lost or damaged in transit to us.
If a product arrives damaged, or is defective, please notify us within seven working days and we will replace it.
Can I buy from outside the UK?
If you are shopping from outside of the UK please place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. Full details to non UK addresses can be found by checking ‘Delivery and Returns‘
Delivery & Returns
Important Notice / COVID-19
Due to the unprecedented times that we find ourselves in, please note that orders may take longer than normal. Our warehouse team is working Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays) and is operating at minimum staffing levels to ensure safe working practises. Despite this, all orders are generally dispatched within 2-3 days subject to the day the order is received (a Good Friday order for example would only be dispatched on the Tuesday following – at the earliest – due to the Bank Holidays).Please note that, once the order is dispatched, it is in the hands of Royal Mail or DPD to deliver. We know that they are doing a sterling job in keeping the delivery service going despite the challenging situation that we all find ourselves in. Please bear with them (and us) and assume that a delivery may take a little longer than normal when placing your order.We will obviously do our utmost to get orders out as quickly as we can and provide a great Tractor Ted service regardless!

Next day delivery (if ordered before 1pm day prior) has been temporarily disabled as Royal Mail have informed us that they cannot currently offer this service during the Coronavirus pandemic. Information will be updated as/when it becomes available.We very much apologise for this.
Terms of Delivery
The Tractor Ted offices are open from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
We always endeavour to process orders as quickly and efficiently as possible. Orders will be processed within 24hrs of receipt unless ordered on a Saturday, Sunday or Bank Holiday Monday when orders will be processed on the next working day.
Orders received after 1pm may be processed up to 48hrs after receipt of order.
Express orders are dispatched between Monday-Thursday inclusive (excl Bank Holidays).
- Tractor Ted can take no responsibility for delivery times once items have left the warehouse.
- Tractor Ted uses reputable couriers including Royal Mail and DPD for all deliveries.
- During busy times and sales periods, some delivery routes may take longer than usual.
- Tractor Ted will endeavour to help whenever/wherever we can with tracking items that go missing or are delayed in the post. Please contact our Customer Services team on 01373 834500 / firstname.lastname@example.org and quote your Tractor Ted Order No (TTXXXX) if you have any queries.
We thank you for your patience.
You have the statutory right to cancel orders at any time within 14 working days after the day the items were received. This applies to all our products on the understanding that they are in their original wrapper and unused/worn.

Please note that if your item was given as a gift then you will need to ask the purchaser to contact us to arrange the return and refund.
Tractor Ted Events
Is Tractor Ted coming to my area?
Tractor Ted LIVE visits around 100 events each year from Scotland to Southampton. We endeavour to visit as many areas of the UK and RoI as we can although some regions may be limited due to their location from the Tractor Ted offices in Somerset.

We can also support county shows and large rural events subject to availability. Please contact the Tractor Ted events team at email@example.com if you would like us to attend an event that you are co-ordinating.
How much are tickets to your events?
Tractor Ted attends events that are co-ordinated by third party organisers be they Tractor Ted retailers or county shows. All details pertaining to admission costs, directions, opening times etc., should be addressed to the venue itself.
Are you able to support our charity event?
Tractor Ted endeavours to support as many charities as feasible. As you will understand, however, we receive hundreds of charitable requests each year.
We are in the process of working towards nominating a ‘Charity of the Year’ for 2019+. This will enable us to spend the time and resources needed to support a worthwhile charitable cause.
In the interim, we are also able to support a limited number of individual/independent fundraising efforts where we can. To enable this, we ask that…
- Please send an SAE to Tractor Ted Customer Services, Highchurch, Radstock, Somerset, BA3 5XT a minimum of 2 months prior to your charity event with a letter explaning what event you are looking for Tractor Ted to support.
- Where feasible, Tractor Ted will send out products that you can use as part of your fundraising efforts. Please note that we cannot support all charities but will do our best to accommodate where feasible.

Privacy, cookies and personal information
The GDPR is EU-designed legislation which came into force on 25 May 2018 with the objective to strengthen the rights of individuals when and how companies use, collect and share their personal data.
Tractorland Ltd keeps a record of your data to enable work to be carried out by the company including processing orders and sending e-mails. Data is only used where it is essential for the administration of customer and supplier orders.
Any financial data is processed using software with robust encryptions and all information is kept securely and not shared with any third parties.
You may choose to actively opt in to receive emails from time to time about our special offers and services (please see section on ‘Direct Marketing’ below). If you prefer not to receive these emails then you can unsubscribe at any time.
What information do we collect?
Information you give us when you order a product.
This may include name, address, postcode, telephone number and email address. We use and store this information securely to handle orders, deliver products, process payments, send out invoices and communicate with you about orders and products.
Information you give us when you complete the form on the ‘Sign up to the Enews’ page.
This includes your name and email address and is used and stored securely to help keep you informed about Tractor Ted events, new products, competitions and special offers. Feedback you give us is used exclusively for Tractor Ted marketing purposes and helps improve our products and services.
Personal information you give us is treated in confidence and will not be passed on to a third party without your consent, except in the circumstances explained below.
The data you give us about yourself, will enable us to give you updates via email, using the contact details you provide, on promotions and services we think may be of interest to you.
To improve our picture of your interests we may link the data you give us with any data we have gathered (via cookies) about your use of the site.
You will be asked to consent to receive marketing communications with the active ticking of a box. In addition, whenever you are contacted by email, you will be told how to opt out of being updated by email in the future.
We will not pass on your personal details to any other organisation without your express permission unless they are directly involved in the running or maintenance of this website.
From time-to-time Tractorland Ltd will run competitions via the website. If you wish to take part in any such competition you must, at the time of entry, confirm that you agree to be bound by the Competition Terms and Conditions below:
- This competition is being run by Tractorland Ltd.
- The competition is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.
- Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
- Closing date for entry will be as stated in the competition terms. After this date no further entries to the competition will be considered.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
- The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition at any time.
- The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable.
- Prizes are subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
- The winner will be chosen at random from all entries received and will be notified by email within 3 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize.
- The promoter will notify the winner how the prize will be delivered.
- The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England
- Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
Transfer of Information
Tractorland Ltd may disclose your personal information when there is a legal obligation to do so and transfer it to relevant authorities to the extent necessary or appropriate to comply with applicable laws or as may be required in legal proceedings.
We try to ensure that our website offers visitors exactly what they are looking for. To help us achieve this goal we may analyse anonymous data collected by cookies about how visitors use the website. Such data also helps us to measure the success of our advertising campaigns. We may also collect Internet Protocol addresses to help diagnose problems with our servers and for system administration, but we don’t link these addresses to any person’s name or identity.
Children under the age of 18 years
This site is aimed at users of various ages and there are no age barriers to anyone accessing the site. Tractorland Ltd does not intend to collect information from children under the age of 18 years.
Users under the age of 18 years should only use the site with the express permission of a parent or guardian and the parents or guardians of said users should review these Terms and Conditions carefully. We advise parents or guardians who permit chldren or young persons to use the site to communicate the importance of safety online.
It is the sole responsibility of the responsible parent or guardian to decide whether or not the content is appropriate for the child.
